    go farther. Add a cup of oatmeal to the ground up meat. Knead it with your hands. Mix it up good. The oatmeal will swell up from the water in the meat and make more portions. It will also help to hold together when you are grilling. The oatmeal won’t effect the taste. It will give you 2 or 3 more burgers. We pulled off all kind of tricks like this when I was growing up. You had to make the food last or make more of it.
