Thank you for a great video HVACR! It explains the fundamentals of a battery bank very well and easy to understand. I recently decided to build a largee battery bank. This program http://tiny.cc/batteryreconditioning allowed me to build a battery bank that’s both the size I need and it also makes storing large amounts of off-grid energy affordable. I hope it helps others to build their own off-grid battery bank.

I currently use 24 2 volt L16 Trojans renewable energy batteries in my system. Each battery is 1200 amp hours, and arranged in two parallel strings of 12 batteries each. For a normal overnight run during the summer time, plus the normal daytime load we use 5.6 to 6.6 kWh of energy. The night time draw down uses about 5 percent of a the battery capacity, 57.6 kWh Solar panel capacity is 2800 watts, and the house is backed by a 20kW diesel genset/
