canning on a glass top stove

    I have heard so many opinions on whether this is “allowed” I have no Idea, it is making me really confused. The big issue I have is that I have an all American caner, that holds 14 qt jars, my main concern, is that it would be too heavy for the stove top to hold at that heat for so long. I have read that ppl use the standard 7qt caners on glass tops all the time, but this one is quite a bit bigger. thanks.
