If so, how hot do you run your stove? My husband and I are trying to go without our electric heat at all if we buy another load. We are warmer with the coal, and it will run us about the same money-wise, pluss the closer we are to not needing electric, the better! Anyway, up until now, we ran the stove at around 300 or so degrees because my husband is afraid of the pipes getting too hot. So it has been a suppliment so far. When it gets colder than 35 degrees outside the electric heat kicks in, not to mention the electric runs in the bedrooms at night.
So… to make an even longer story shorter  how hot is too hot? 🙂
