So far this year my garden has been a failure. However I have an abundance of blueberries and sweet corn. I didn’t plant sweet corn this year, but friends have brought me their surplus so that I have lots extra. I cut some off the cob (Silver Queen) and put it in the dehydrator. It’s been in for about 7 hours. Not finished yet, but I tried some of it. It was fairly sweet to begin with. The semi-dried corn has concentrated the sugars so that it is almost like candy. Texture is chewy. Has anyone ever tried this? I wonder how hard it will get when it is completely dried. I’m going to process a lot of it tomorrow.

I’ve never dried blueberries before. Anyone done this? What is the finished product like?
