Eggs, insects & lizards

    This has probably been covered somewhere here already, but there are quite a few edible insects in the southeast. I don’t have my list with me right now, but some that I recall are brown, black and green grasshoppers, dragonflies, damsel flies, and termites. Also, apparently all north american bird eggs are edible. In Florida, we have millions of lizards called Anoles that aren’t terribly difficult to catch with your bare hands. There are brown and green Anoles and they are both edible from what I’ve read. I’d cook everything first, obviously.
