    It’s been a while, but about two months or so ago, there was a bit of discussion here on the board about removing U.S. senators based on a vote of no confidence or other means. We could be seeing legal history in the making here. This should be interesting because they are using a state’s constitution as the legal basis for removal of a federal elected official. I’m not saying it’s right or it’s wrong, or even whether or not it’s smart…just interesting.

    Depending upon local reaction and whether or not they are able to swing enough support to pass a recall vote, this could present some interesting challenges in the years to come on state sovereignty vs. federal sovereignty.
