    This subforum is for hydro produced power, whether it be mechanical or electrical. I do not have a lot of experience with hydro as the availabilities in my area are limited. Did have an idea though, a centrifucal pump uses mechanical energy to “push” water. If you had enough water pressure and flow rate could you back feed the pump and produce mechanical energy? If this is possible then a centrifical pump would make a ready made turbine, would it not?
