    Brief Description: 45 member team that has completed 50+ hours of training that included: Traffic Control, Damage Assessment, Advance SkyWarn Spotter Training, Lifeflight Ground School, in addition to the traditional CERT curriculum. Members must complete a minimum of 10 CEU’s yearly plus keep current CPR and medical certification (first aid, first responder, etc.). Additional training is being planned that includes wilderness search and rescue and other more advanced training. Team members also assist in teaching citizen groups the traditional CERT program. The team has been very active in the first year of existence by assisting with several lost person incidents, providing first aid stations and traffic control at community events, and damage assessment in the aftermath of severe weather events.

    Brief Description: The Jones Community Emergency Response Team consists of 18 members who completed CERT training in November, 2000. The members have used the training numerous times the past few years including the May 8 & 9th tornadoes in central Oklahoma that effected our town and areas close to us.     Brief Description: The Department of Human Services is using the CERT program to provide additional training and knowledge for its employees while also providing additional trained CERT members for the community. The first class completed training in July 2005 and a second class will begin sometime in the fall of 2005. We hope to have over 30 CERT trained employees once all training is completed.

    Brief Description: This CERT group provides response to an area of approximately 200 square miles located in the southwest corner of Canadian County and the northeast borders of Caddo County.     Brief Description: Training the citizens of Payne County as well as Oklahoma State University students, we strive to help the community become aware of what potential disasters can happen locally as well as what to do in a variety of other emergencys. CERT volunteers are also given the opportunity to help the community by working in conjuction with the Stillwater Emergency Coordination and Communication Center as well as the Stillwater Police Department for special events.
