Pickled red onions

    The recipes in the Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving is off a little bit. You need 5 not 4 cups of red Vinegar . We had less than a 1/2 of a 1/2 pint jar of vinegar, left over using 5 cups. We also ended up with 9,- 1/2 pint jars of onions when finished. 😀 The book said 7 . The clove of garlic is hard to spot after the onions are softened, we did spot it for removal :shakeyes: After they have set for a week we will try them out, and post the results……
