Southwestern Oregon Preppers (SWOP), along with the Cascadia EarthScope Earthquake and Tsunami Education Program (CEETEP), will be holding a meeting at Noon on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve Interpretive Center, which is located four miles south of Charleston at 61907 Seven Devils Road.

Earthquake and tsunami science and preparedness is the main topic. CEETEP action teams will be presenting on these topics and sharing ways they have been getting students, residents, and coastal visitors involved in the learning.

This is a free public meeting to get to know fellow local preppers in southwestern Oregon counties and to exchange information and ideas. It is important for individuals to understand that they will be “on their own” in the event of a disaster and not to depend on receiving outside help.
