Looking at getting some UHF handheld radios.
That are 5watts each. The range is about 7miles I know i will need to fill out an FCC fourm and get a license for them. But who is to say I get them for my snow plow trucks. And if needed I can usr them later. He have something similar at work they go about 30miles.
Yes I know there are midlands out there that they say can go 30 miles. But with Kenwoods I am looking at I get privacy and there not a party line.
NOT LOOKING AT GETTING A HAM AT THIS TIME.
    Any thoughts pro’s and con’s
