Using an old public bus as a greenhouse?

It was more than 10 years ago that I was helping a friend of mine buy a used bus to turn into a motor home. At that time, there were old public transit buses for sale for about $2K. We ruled them out at the time because there was so much glass in them that it would be difficult to keep cool. Since that time I have often thought that such a bus – with roof panels replaced with glass – would make a good green house. Even though mechanically worn out, they are still strong and, with engine removed, can house the necessary tanks needed for hydroponics. They would also be relatively easy to secure – easier than most greenhouses – especially if they were parked in a trench. Any ideas?
