Watermelon Pickles

    I just canned for the first time watermelon pickles. The recipe was easy enough. The brine tasted great, but you can chip a tooth on the pickles they are so hard and crisp. I figured out after the whole canning process was done, that I should have peeled the rind off. I sure got a good laugh out of that as well has my neighbor. Looks like I will be peeling pickles before serving.
