    Here is a list of books and websites I have found useful in my effort to learn about wild edibles and medicinal plants and herbs.

    This is not a complete list by any means, but should keep you busy for a year or two. Just reading isn’t enough, though. You’ve really got to get out there and get the experience. I started with easily recognizable plants like dandelions, lambs quarters (yum!), plantain, curly dock, etc., and then tried to learn one or two new plants every week or two. I still have far to go, particularly with medicinal plants and herbs. But what could be more fun than learning something new and sharing it with interested others?
