Re: Are you a "bring it on prepper"

What Reb said plus I wasn't joking about city preppers at all. My next door neighbor(one of them) won't even walk down our country, rural road because she's too afraid, let alone get off her duff to tend a garden. Our other neighbors have been a gold mine of information about gardening. Not all peop...

Hate to be the party pooper here but apples and peaches don't grow on trees. At least not at my walmart anyway.[/quote]

Re: Are you a "bring it on prepper"

And there are a lot of people in cities that won't recognize food that's being grown. There's some that would starve holding a potato (because it's not french fries that can go in the microwave). A friend was part of a program near San Francisco that was teaching inner city type youth how to prepar...

There are exceptions. You're not automatically on anyone's watch list as to the disposal of your money. Car loans get paid off, boat loans get paid off, etc.

I just wanted to thank you a bunch for patiently answering our sometimes clueless questions - they helped us a lot in trying to come up with some initial ideas for designs that may be helpful to the lifestyle of prepping. If you would be willing to voice chat and give feedback, please PM me with ti...

One Year After

While perusing Amazon I ran across the sequel to One Second After by William Forstchen. It's entitled One Year After and I put it on my wish list there, along with other books I'd like to read. Edited to apologize for jumping the gun. It's due out September 15 of this year.

Re: What are Your Experiences?

through my years as a prepper, prepping becomes a life style. You can’t build confidence & success as prepper just buying several years of food and water, a generator for electricty, weapons and ammo, and a library of how to survival books.... One thing I like to tell people then they ask me ab...

Re: Are you a "bring it on prepper"

No. I wouldn't take any particular pleasure at seeing the suffering of others. Do I wish that there were less dependency on the government and instant gratification without working for it? Yes.

Re: Mandatory Voting

Perma, if your friend doesn't have a mailing address then why is the state's problem? The vast majority of people DO have mailing addresses and that's what I was referring to. Perhaps it's difficult for him but not for most to register to vote. It would be the states problem if they required him to...
