Re: EBOLA CONTAINMENT LOST-(WHO Upgrades to Highest Level 3)

Thank you, VetMike! having a link to back up our statements is important (even when sharing prep info ;) ). I like to look back at the original source to see where the info came from, unless it's just someones personal experience that has taught them what they are sharing. We need to have good, soli...

Re: Common simple overlooked Preps for me!!

Re: Ebola Pandemic Likely? (How quickly *Could* it Spread?)

IMHO, it will continue to get out to some degree, but its lethality and short incubation are our best defense. .... With its short incubation, 6 months of isolation might get you to the clear. http://www.uhs.dept.shef.ac.uk/whologo.gif http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs103/en/ The incubat...

Re: EBOLA CONTAINMENT LOST-(WHO Upgrades to Highest Level 3)

From what I understand about the virus is that it's spread through infected fluids, ie blood and mucus , no wonder it spreads so easy in Africa where basic sanitation is no where to be found. Unless it goes airborne I don't see it getting world wide too easy, that being said the more people it infe...

Re: EBOLA CONTAINMENT LOST-(WHO Upgrades to Highest Level 3)

I have not been following this closely and perhaps someone already has a answer to my questions. All the photos I have seen, appear to be in rural or remote areas, as in dirt roads and lots of vegetation. Has any of this outbreak been in an urban or densely populated area? Re: Ebola Pandemic Likely?

:caution: Let's keep THIS thread discussion about the spread of pandemics and keep all news & updates in the Ebola thread. It'll get REAL confusing, REAL fast, if it the posts get spread around & mixed up.

I amended the thread title a bit, to help identify the topic.-k
