Seems like the popular theory is that Planet X is drawing closer and altering the earth's wobble. http://www.examiner.com/article/earth-w ... new-jersey Since the bits I've read are from the Examiner and also involve a conspiracy theory, I'm skeptical. The other reasons I've read is that the booms are Sky Quakes, which seems pretty lame. The other theory suggests that the New Madrid fault line is waking up. I didn't see anything at Snopes.com, but I could have been using the wrong search terms.

Thank you for bringing this up, though. I haven't heard anything about this before (in Albany, NY any big booms we hear are the Representatives stampeding for lunch hour). I hope someone can shed some truth on it.

I got gas. Sorry. That is why our house has no glass in it. I keep blowing it out.

I have never heard an unidentified loud boom. I have heard sound barriers being broken, being fighter planes always take off at Minneapolis airport, but hey are usually good about not doing it right over the burbs.

My cousin lives in Oklahoma and hears the sound barrier being broken all the time, considering Tinker Air Force base is there and they perform maintenance on all types of aircraft.

A couple of articles. No one seems to know where the booms are coming from. Lots of people and places are hearing them though. Weird
Matthew 25:42 "for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave me no drink."

Matthew 25:45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me."

Anyone heard of DUTCHSINSE? His newsletters touch on the subject of these "booms" every now and then. He tends to think that they are underground earthquakes.

We had them in Clintonville, Wisconsin last March, followed by tremors. Although the New Madrid Fault per se is not that close, some scientists theorize that New Madrid is not a fault like San Andreas, but a seismic 'zone' or 'area' which widens its influence considerably. It is twenty times larger than the San Andreas, and there has been a six-fold increase in tremors between 2000 and 2011. When you add up all the related faults considered part of the system, you encompass an area affected covering much of Wis, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana; almost half of Oklahoma, and New York; a small corner of of Minnesota; all of Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, W Virginia, Ohio, Indiana; in short a system which affected 23 of 50 states (not to mention ringing those Boston church bells) during the 1895 tremor with a magnitude of 6. A study by the Mid-America Earthquake Center found that in the event of a major earthquake along the New Madrid fault, "nearly 750,000 buildings would be damaged, 3,000 bridges would potentially collapse, 400,000 breaks and leaks to local pipelines and $300 billion in direct damage and $600 billion in indirect losses would occur."

New Madrid is one of the things I prep for - I doubt if FEMA would be able to get in for a very long time due to road and bridge damages. I don't like ominous booms.
New laws are like new taxes....both evolve, but they never go away.

There were also videos of strange sounds on you tube, but my guess is they were hoaxes, like crop circles.

Did indoor plumbing tinkle you off to? I mean all that flushing rather than the nearest tree has caused endless environmental damage. Swamp
