Doubtful - Check this link for a list of end of the world predictions - they just keep coming....  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dates_predicted_for_apocalyptic_eventsAt least some of them are entertaining and lead to "good" B movies. It's not the blast that kills you, it's the tumble to the bottom of the 800 foot crater.....

I slept like a baby last night. Woke at 5:02, poked the hubby and told him "ten minutes til the end of the world", and went back to sleep. I don't usually watch the news, but I might today.

Still here, but the end of the world may still happen at my house....apparently, the Siberian Husky figured out how to open the latches on "Destructo Dog"s crate
 WHen I got up this morning, Destructo Dog (the Malinois pup) was OUT (I had locked her in her crate last night). When we left the house this morning, in addition to latching her crate, I added a carabiner to the door. If she gets out again, I might not have a house left.

You know the nations going broke and you need big spending cuts.
You also know you need more tax money. But you dont want to raise taxes and cut spending yourself because that would make everyone hate you. So you just reject all the offeres the other side makes, make silly offers of your own you know they wont take, and laugh as we sail over the cliff. You get the spending cuts and tax hikes you need, and you get to make the other side look like an (Censored word. I'm a potty mouth). Also you get to spend 20 days in Hawaii while he and his friends chill in DC with only the hate of half the nation to keep them warm as they get blamed for it all. Its so obvious

I think what gets me is now they are changing the Mayan date to Sunday. However I am astonished to the fact that the ISS took photos of the galactic alignment. According to NASA that was not going to happen. According to many so called experts out there on different forums there was to be no galactic alignment. Am I missing something? Did everyone lie? WTH? Yet the ISS took photos of it, so it happened. Yet it wasn't suppose to happen.
  Oh and we all have a wonderful asteroid coming in on valentines day that will be below our satellites so we may want to worry about that.

NASA said the alignment of the planets was not happening, not that the galactic alignment was not.
