Bob Bag Question.... Sort of...

Postby Whisper » Sat Feb 20, 2010 6:35 pm

So how many have a Sham Wow in the Bob? Has any one tried one? I was just in Walmart and saw one. That's what got me thinking about it.

And while looking for the pic above, I found the one below...

You guys are so mean making fun of poor Obama. He just wants "hope" and "change" (and our money). If we keep being critical, he will give more speeches. Now, do you really want THAT! We obviously need those smart people in D.C. to better explain it to us. :whistling:

I don't have a shamwow, but I do have a highly absorbent towel in the BOB. Good addition IMHO

You can buy an Absorber in the auto cleaning section of Walmart (or most other auto parts stores) that is much more durable. I one for years as a backpack towel.

We have the equivalent UK version of these, but it never entered my head to add a couple to the BOBs

Will buy a couple of new ones and add them at the weekend..

Cheers for the tip :D

You must have been taken then. The Barrackwow came with a whole lot of paperwork. And it was ten times more expensive then anything else in the store after taxes. Image

I was kinda referring to the fact that Obama couldn't produce any birth certificate :whistling: :p

These things make awesome headbands and wristbands, in case you don't have any in your BOB. Cut up and tie around your wrist or head if needed to catch sweat. We all may be headed for hard physical labor or walking, so I thought I'd throw this out there.

Absorbant towel useful for collecting dew off grass and leaves and wring out into container for water...will need purification though. I think the Barrackwow less useful. LOL

Sham wow works, but my philosophy is keep it simple and light. Most things in my bob have more than one function or it doesn't go in the bag. So for me the big bandanna among many uses can be used to dry off.no need for a sham wow unless it can be used for multiple purpose.
