Everyone ready for the new executive order?

Its coming this country is about to start changing rapidly! Today the Executive order for mass gun control / confiscation is coming up. How many of you are going to lay down when they knock on your doors?

Two things. One, they can kiss my rosey red backside. Second, if he does sign any executive order banning any kind of gun or ammo or accessory, it will cause civil unrest that would make any riot look like a cub scout camping trip.

Not to mention it would be illegal to no end circumventing a Constitutional Amendment by executive order.

We'll know more on Tuesday. I just heard thats when we'll find out what the recomendations are. I agree we may see civil unrest should they try and circumvent the 2nd ammendment. The "Gun Powder Incident"and Concord & Lexington are just 2 examples of past reactions.

I don't think people will do a darn thing for real, with the exception of venting. I have a $5 spot that no riots, no gun powder incident, no protests. We will go quietly into the night......

We need to:

1 - Write/call/email our representatives.
2 - Exercise your gun rights. Carry them openly - law permitting for your area.
3 - Participate on January 19th's Gun Appreciation day. Show up at your state capitol, go to a gun store and buy a box of ten, join the NRA, GOA, etc. Take a concealed carry class. SOMETHING.
4 - Since we are 237 years removed, our society's memory has become hazy. Our rights were not won easily. They will not be kept easily.
5 - Encourage others to do all of the above.

I don't believe that an actual confiscation will happen anytime soon. The President isn't that stupid no matter how someone may feel. Instead, there could be a chance of other laws such as requiring insurance just like a car.

The most effective action would be an ammo ban. In a few months most people would have nothing more then fancy clubs. Sure throw some gun stuff, but what matters is ammo. Reloading will work for awhile unless they ban primers. Swamp

One suggestion is, if they come, just say "I'm not turning over my guns. arrest me." They can't put that many people in jail.

Believe me, I know the type you're talking about. We see them all the time...some of them are neighbors and coworkers. What I'm thinking is that they don't want a civil war any more than the next guy and instead will end up pushing through gun control measures that will make it more expensive to own a gun such as requiring insurance with a mandatory liability clause. Like the old saying goes: Hit them where it hurts the most, in the pocketbook.

Which is a sneaky way of getting revenue--because the public will reason, Oh, this is so much better than losing the right to bear arms...liberal/progressives win again another battle..but not the war.
