Has anybody read this series?

I am about fifty pages in, and it seems good/interesting so far.

It starts out that there was some type of apocalyptic event that occurred. The book takes place multiple generations later. Survivors of the event live in some type of large under ground facility that was designed to survive such an event. The event happened so long ago that no one really seems to know what happened, or what life or the world is really like.

I flew thru it in a week.(Darn it..I hate that sometimes...lol)
