Hi Chris,
June 24-26th is fast approaching and I need to discuss reserving the Large Group area for my American Preppers Network Meet-up and camp out..
I think at least 15-20 people are coming and several may just stop by for a day of visiting.. We are Going to be doing Plant Identification Hikes and A couple People have volunteered to do some classes under the Pavilion. http://www.americanpreppersnetwork.net/ This is a National Group and We are the Connecticut Chapter of the APN.. We have been written up in Popular Mechanics and have been on several TV programs.. Cathy the Kids And I have Camped at your Campground for years when the kids were Young and I have fond memories of Tubing down the river and walking the trails there. It is the first Place I thought of when I planned Camp out in CT.. My Number is XXXXXXXXXX and my cell is XXXXXXXXXX. If you can get me the going group rates I will let the folks know so we can send in our Fees. Bruce

Hey Urban Bugger.. I am leading 2 wild foraging hikes a day Morning and evening.. We will try to find enough to make a meal or 2 everyday with what we forage. That and the fish we catch in the river!! 6 dollars a day per person is a great deal for camping, classes in a covered Pavilion, tubing down a really nice river, fishing, fun and fellowship!! Looking forward to meeting you!!

Update on Campout Summer Weekend Workshop

I have found an Instructor for the last open class slot!!

Our final class will be Survival Electricity Production - It will be taught by a survival minded engineer who has extensive electrical experience.

We Need to start collecting the fees for the campground - for those who are definitely coming to hold a site we need to get $6 per night per person - (because we need to have $200 for the campground at a minimum to hold the facility - once we have the $200 minimum we will announce for everyone else that attendance is still open and you can pay on arrival) for the few friends of mine that are not on the forum but are coming, I have already collected fees. But in the next 2 weeks we need to get $130 worth of commitment for attendance please.
I have set up a paypal account for this purpose trackthesasquatch@gmail.com

Use the URL below to get Personalized Directions to the campground. Just open the link and click "get directions" and input your address and get door to door directions.

Hey Everybody,

Just for informational purposes because there have been some questions about paypal.

when you set up a paypal account the email address that you set up the account with acts as the visible name on the account.

Each person who wishes to pay by paypal will have to sign up for their own account, it is a very quick and easy process when you use it only for sending money - a little more complicated when you use it for receiving money - though not much. That way when you sign into your account and you click the "send payment" tab at the top of the account screen, you enter the email address of the person you want to send money to the same way that you would write their name on a check.

Ok hope this helps.

My account name in paypal is trackthesasquatch@gmail.com

We are all set folks!!! Hope to see a great Turn out at the Campout!!! Even if we just Meet-up for the day on Saturday it should still be one heck of a great Time.. I'm getting there Friday and setting up my Huge tent .. The Only thing the Camp Ground Owner asks is that you DO NOT BRING wood to the Camp ground CT is battling a Beetle infestation Problem and wood will be for sale at the Grounds or we can find Squaw wood on the out skirts..
