At times like this is is easy to question God, why did he allow this? We all pray for our children and kiss them good bye when they leave. We pray and hope they will be safe and healthy. That makes us wonder why God failed us, why he took our babies. No one on this earth wiil ever be able to tell us why this occured, on He has the answer. Do not blame God, hold on to your faith, hold onto your children. Evil exists, it is all around us, we never know when it will appear. Sometimes we defeat it, sometimes it defeats us. That does not make it easier, it is just a fact.

I'm saddened for those kids and families and angered that a responsible, armed citizen didn't stop it before it went so far.

Too much speculation and rumors... very few facts at this point.

One report I saw from the "news" said the shooter was the parent of a child at that school.

Doesn't appear to be anyone else involved. the "second shooter" story seems at this point anyway, to be just a rumor.

Why do we have so many these days, wandering around taking faulty pills instead of locked away somewhere?

I heard that yesterday some guy in China went after kids at a school with a knife, and slashed about two dozen of them, so it ain't just here that people are loosing it.

"Every species can sense it's own extinction", forget where I heard that, but it makes me think there is more to this than appears on the surface.... or maybe people will just settle down after the 21st comes and goes.

Horrible, just horrible. Does not exactly restore my faith in humanity. Makes me almost eager for the time when Mother Gaia like the Hopi say shakes us off of her like fleas.
