25 Things You Should Do To Prepare For the Economic Collpase

This is really common sense stuff, but for those who haven't thought about it... here ya go.

25 Things That You Should Do To Get Prepared For The Coming Economic Collapse

This article, IMHO, is just a gimmik to get people to the site. BUT, it does, in general, give some food for thought. It is not specific on its recommendations but again every little bit of info you can have in your arsenal is helpful. Again, it is a good food for thought provoker.

It is a decent list but I do feel it is about selling goods.

Its a decent list to start conversations with non or pre-beginner preppers.

The list, especially numbers 1 thru 8 remind me of the Suzanne Ormand money plan: designed by millionaires with no idea how the average person lives.

In these economic times, unless you have huge disposable income, one can't just "save 6 months salary as an emergency fund", or "buy enough gold and silver coins to last a long time", or "get out of debt quickly". NO KIDDING! "Just start a home business" REALLY! THAT EASY?

The average working person works paycheck to paycheck with a little saved and a little put into preps and/or minor hobbies.

Just my 2 cents.

I came across that article yesterday, too. It's a "general overview" that a newbie can use to wrap around the idea of prepping in a more "simple" way. After all, as we here know all too well, there are probably more like a HUNDRED or more things that "need to be done".....and all couldn't possibly be explained in a list of 25. It truly takes a comprehensive look at what prepping entails on a more realisitc level. It would take a HUGE web site, like APN :) to come close to detailing these needs. And then, we'll STILL lack something even if we've been at this for YEARS. I think it's good that he posts articles like this, because it may just trigger a newbie to use their critical thinking skills, and set themselves in motion to get started!
