A year later, I'm in. Have spent a lot of my spare time just getting organized and preps in order. Small start but working on it.
Am really looking forward to additional input from the NW Region Preppers for "regional" insight.

Am still here, just north of Seattle. Working, prepping and learning new skills! Have been roasting coffee on the BBQ, learning about cheese making, looking at properties in E. Wa and prepping hard all the while...

Checking in from rural Thurston County. Reached my prepping goals for 2013 and am now starting on the 2014 goals. Have plans to improve my square foot gardening this year and connect with other preppers in my area.
If you can visualize what might happen the day after and then be able to realistically afford to prevent it, why not do it the day before?

Checking in from Mason county wa. Been a while since I was on the forums, but I have been doing a lot of prepping. Got my food reserves up to a very comfortable 6 months. Now have chickens. Doubled the size of our garden. It's been a productive last year or so.

New here. Looking forward to browsing around and picking up some tips. New to prepping, too, although I've sort of done things on my own such as gardening, raising fowl, etc. Time to up my game.

New to WA state and the Prepping Community. I live in Spokane. I have been working on a plan for a community if any would like any info just ask I can post the links to the video I have made. Seems like ALOT of the activity here has died off. Hopefully not.

New from Tri-Cities WA.... anyone else from the area? Have been preparing solo for the past year with high expectations 2016. Family and friends are not quite on board with taking steps to be self sufficient, hopefully they will get there before a disaster strikes. Lots of great tips on the site!

Things seem to have died down in the APN forums quite a bit. Not that many posts as there used to be 5 years ago. We're still here in NE WA.

IF anyone is looking to relocate to the Eastern WA "redoubt" area... there is lots of land for very affordable prices. If you're looking for a form of income, before making the jump to move to Eastern WA, contact me. We have been running a family run business for many years, the community loves it, but we'd like to sell it as a turnkey opportunity, it has an apartment next to it, so the commute is ideal. This is perfect for a family that wants to relocate, and can do so immediately. Then take their time in looking for property. We've become empty nesters and can't run our business with just my husband and myself. We have been able to run our business for 5 years successfully with our three sons, but none of them want to take over the business -- we would like to also provide good-will to the buyer to help them get up to speed quickly.

If interested, Just send a PM through the forum!
