What the heck happened?

Tried to log on tuesday afternoon and was "locked out" was told my user name and password did NOT exist. Thought it was a site glitch so kept trying off and on. Was finally able to re-set my password and log in today, BUT every single post I've made.... GONE, avitar......GONE, what's up? Did I do something to upset admins/mods and get wiped from the site? Don

Wow that is strange. I couldn't log in yesterday but today its good and all my posts are still here

I know that I had trouble logging back in after I got "booted", because the server was getting overloaded. Too many people all trying to get on at the same time, so the server "burped".

I will see if I can find out what happened> How many posts did you have? when was the last time you were logged on prior to this incident?

back om NIP... it was about 10 hours for me... I tried for 30 minutes on and off and called it a night..

I had trouble earlier and it seems ok now since I logged in from scratch. I thought it was just me being a dummy or something.

It happened to me too, I'm trying to get some people looking into this to see what we can find out is going wrong. We are on a new server which is faster and more memory than the last one, so this should not be happening unless there is something wrong with the new server

yep the new server seems to have some glitches.. finally got back on for how long only the BIG guy knows ....Going to play for as long as I can..c u ....maybe

I could not respond to posts, this morning. Kept getting an error message (sorry, can't remember what it was), but it was in red and said my response was denied. I thought maybe I had a word in the post that was 'unacceptable' by some type of forum editing system. -k

Last time was a day or two before getting "booted" can't remember number of posts but was well over 100.

HEheheh...this kind of thing is why we always referred to an upgrade as an "Oops-grade"! There always seems to be SOME sort of "glitches" with an upgrade, until the "kinks" get worked out.
