Myakka and Swamp, I'm holding my opinion for a bit. While I dont disagree with either of your opinions, I would like to see what else there could be.

Trump so far has said things some just don't like but at least he tells it as he sees it . Not trying to be PC , and not have handlers seem to be working for him . He may have the courage of Regan , the tricks of Nixon and the heart Washington hidden inside . I will agree the field looked bleak except for a couple who have entered the race . As they like to say I will know more latter as it drags on .
I can only hope Hillary don't get to be commander and chief based upon her past she should be detained for questioning for her actions and acts .....

Undecided. Won't decide until I can vote. Trump is definitely shaking things up, we need that. But his choice for VP sucks. Oprah? LOL can you imagine. LOL

I don't believe this "PresidentTrump2016" is a long time poster. If he or she was why not post it as themselves? Too scared?

I also have to state that I see NO candidates running as Republican I would vote for today. Not impressed. But don't accuse me of supporting Hillary, don't go there, I can't stand her or the liberal freaks.

Trump's appeal is that he's not afraid to put his foot in it. He has no filter and never apologizes. You can deal with a guy like that. You can argue, get in his face, and get whatever the issue is out into the light of day. If you p1ss him off, he'll let you know about it. None of the sly little passive-aggressive two-faced crap that has politicians tippy toeing around backstabbing from the shadows. He's an adult who takes responsibility for his actions, period.

What will be his undoing, in my opinion, is his demeanor. The Irish pub brawler look may not play well on the international stage, although I would love to see him face to face with Rouhani. Alone.

Oprah for VP?? Tell me you made that up. Oprah is one of the reasons Obama got so much attention in the beginning -- she couldn't say enough good things on her show about this wonderful, brilliant man. Dr. Oz can be Surgeon General.

Anyway, maybe Trump should run as a third party. He is a distraction, the Rep party probably won't endorse him. Then we can get back to the crimes of Hillary. Maybe Guantanamo could be converted to a prison for politicians.

"Maybe Guantanamo will be converted into a prison for politicians", Aunt Bee

That would be a great idea since Obama is getting ready to give Gitmo back to the Cubans.

I wondered when people would pick up on the Cuba deal as the way to close Gitmo .Give it to Cuba and it shutdowns . Cuba just want to nuke us a few years ago and we all know they have changed for the better . But what do I know I am just a southern hick .
Trump is like the new kid on the block who don't give a rats butt about being PC . The rest are just puppets on strings of the system that we have had for years and years . He also has enough money to tell the powers that corrupt the system that I don't need your bribes . I hope he will stick to his guns on that one .

Since the Federal Reserve is owned as a private corporation... TPTB pull the strings. Every single President that was "good intentioned" either got shot or was framed and ousted. I used to think it mattered who got elected. NOW, I believe that it's just the lesser of 2 evils and one candidate will make things much worse for us quicker compared to the other candidate. But we won't know about "The Don" unless we elect him. Many things would have to be reversed to get this nation back to "healthy" status.

I think it is too late for anyone to turn it around. I also think there is little difference between the two main parties. Both want to own us. One side would sell us to communism/ socialism where the government would own us. The other would sell us to big business where the government/ business combine would own us. Either way we are being farmed like a commodity.

So any candidate that disrupts the big plan is a good thing. I doubt he will be elected. I doubt he will remain "a voice of the common man" once he is elected, etc. I doubt he will have any working solutions to the mess our country has become.

But I am enjoying watching the big machines on both sides try to figure him out.

More people are getting fed up with the system. Trump's rising polls are an indication of that.

Myaka, yes it is amusing to watch how people react.

He's forcing the issues. That is a good thing.

Exactly.

Donald Trump is a product of the Republican Party's Failures.

The Republican Party ran in 2010 and 2014 on opposition to the Obama Agenda. They promised to repeal Obamacare. They promised to fight Executive Amnesty. They promised to oppose his lawless power grabs and assertions of Executive Authority.

What have they done since winning the House and Senate?

- They have fully funded Obamacare, and even made contingency plans to save it if the Supreme Court struck it down.

- They fully funded Obama's Executive Amnesty.

- They have given Obama a blank check to run up the debt.

- They approved Obama's pick for attorney general who promised to continue the lawless policies of her predecessor.

- They passed legislation -- over the objections of the conservative base -- granting Obama limitless authority to negotiate trade agreements.

- They passed legislation making it easier for Obama's Iran Deal to go into effect.

If the Republicans hadn't screwed up so thoroughly, there would be no Trump phenomenon.

now that i'm paying attention to trump, I see the liberals really twisting everything he says. I find it amusing. aint got a clue if he can actually get elected since the actual "election" isn't made with popular votes, it's electorals. We all know how those work. The gold buys the electorals and we get the president some fat cat rich dudes want to see in there.

I think he thinks it's all about him, so I probably won't vote for him, but I do enjoy watching him make the libs and liberal media gasp and squirm!
