Just got done hand writing letters to my senators and congressman. I joined the NRA and GOA for the first time today, and let them know that too. I am going to oppose this thing every way I can. Feels good to get started. Looking for the next step. Be sure to post here when you write your letters and keep this thread on the top. I hope this becomes the hottest thread in the forum.

I also wrote letters to the Governor of NC, my NC Senator, and my NC House Representative urging them to stand up for the 2nd and 10th amendments to The Constitution of the United States and promote/introduce/support a nullification type law similar to the State of Wyoming. Gun laws properly belong to the States.

I sure wish more people were involved in writting their congressman. If folks just sit still and do nothing, nothing will ever change.

Wrote letters 2 weeks ago. Did the email generator letters at ruger.com and goa.org. Just mailed out another batch of snailmail letters today. Only replies were from Sen. Kay Hagan (acknowledged receipt with a generic email - very unlikely to support 2nd amendment though) and from Rep. Mark Meadows - sounds like he's on board.
