Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"Not many guns and not much ammo left to buy in my area...!
Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"Do you think we will see any reciprocation on the part of the gun and ammo sellers?
I see a lot of support for the Second Amendment on the part of the big boys like MidwayUSA... but damn little from the local shops. You know times are bad in America when GW Bush's presidency starts looking good..
Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"
I just bought another order of stuff from them (An ATI stock for my marilin 99, a puck sharpener and some nice tent stakes) and because they fight the good fight did the dollar + round up instead of the normal round up. But yea i can not think of any retailer that supports the fight for the second amendment, and the NRA, more.
Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"So how are local gun dealers supposed to show their support for the Second Amendment? Lower their prices because you want them to? Really? Now why is that?
THINK......It's not illegal yet.

Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"Lynda...very good question. I guess it depends on the store. My local gun shop makes it very clearly known that they are a strong supporter of the second and believe everyone should be armed...they go out of there way to have all employees with side arms to reenforce this stance. They have always stated that they are in equal parts a business and a supporter of rights. I guess that is why prices have not gone up at all at the store. The manager said he believes in the free market, but hates price gouging. That said, if a store raised there prices that is really a store issue. I guess using my freedom I would choose not to shop there again. Kinda like gasoline price gouging....I never went back to the mom and pop shop that gouged during one of our huricannes.
Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"
My gun dealer doesn't price gouge but they are competitive. Very fair. So, I guess I don't understand the concern. Seems to me if one is not satisfied with their gun dealer one can choose to shop elsewhere. THINK......It's not illegal yet.

Re: Support the 2nd Amendment "Gun Appreciation Day"Being a Firearms Owner is Not about being Criminal, its about a Constitutional Right in America to protect ourselves, just like reading print and exercising the 1st Amendment or 14th Amendment: Due process of the law, 15th Amendment: race no bar to vote, 3rd Amendment: no quartering of soldiers with out owners permission, Its about being an American Citizen, All Amendments Are our Freedoms, We exercise these Amendments in our Everyday Life's Skills, Prohibition did not last very long, it was repealed and Alcohol was reinstated and Taxed? Our Government Has Lost its Patriotism and its Identify since the end of the Vietnam War and Arab Oil Embargo of 1973, pick some up during the Gulf War and then Lost it Again in 2008

Sadly, I have neglected my gun's mental well-being. I will be sure to give them extra TLC tonight when I tuck them into bed. No, you may not quote me for any book, article, news story, etc, or use any of my posts on this topic or any other for any reason without my express written permission.
