I like tent camping but my kitchen box is getting too heavy to be put into the car alone anymore. With the kitchen on wheels and a cargo space for all my camping stuff, it made sense to me. I did have help on the framing of it, but other wise I did all of it. Glad you like the paint job, I wasn't so sure of the pin stripping but it does make it stand out. I am moving it out into the sun shine latter today after I put the doors on.

We went camping and EVERYONE had to stop by and look at it. We only found one thing wrong with it and I've already got it fixed. It towed nice and now I know my MPG when towing it. Got great pictures of the Bridges of Madison County (Iowa)

the teardrop, had been on a few road trips since then and that area you live in Searcher is very nice. Not well populated and rich farm land.

MOMBEAR? Do you have doors on both sides or just the drivers side. The first picture shows a door on the passenger side and all the others are of the drivers side??

I have them on both sides. When you cut a solid core door, might as well use the whole thing.

hooptie, yep no shower inside, but i got a shower bag and have used it outside. But I am tent camper and too small of a car, so this is great. All my camping stuff fits into it and I have a kitchen on the rear. We did a dry run of bugging out when my DH was out of town, a few months ago, I couldn't get everything that I wanted into the car or the teardrop. so now I have to figure out what to do. I did get a basket for the top of my car, and if it is loaded with suitcases, it will look "normal" compared to everyone else. That is 5 suitcases, my DS suggested I get some old suitcases from good will and have them prepacked, like all the meds in one, barter items in another one, tools for another one. I was thinking those real old ones with hard sides, might actually work and they are pretty. I could have them stacked in my living room and unless someone opened it no one would know.

Good idea. That's very popular in interior design right now.....
