Columbia, SC’s First Suburban Prepper's Conference

by gabrewer55 » Fri Jan 06, 2012 10:43 pm

I just found out about this event and although it is not in Georgia, it is in our neighboring state of SC.

I hope it is ok to post these types of messages here.

Columbia, SC’s First Suburban Prepper's Conference DATE: Saturday March 3rd, 2012 TIME: 8:30am-5:30 pm (DOORS OPEN AT 7:30AM FOR REGISTRATION) LOCATION: Christian Life Church 2700 Bush River Road Columbia, SC 29210

Don’t miss this all day conference addressing the many challenges of preparing for short and long- term emergencies, no matter where you live. You have no well, no septic tank, no large garden or livestock? Wondering how you are going to survive a disaster?

FEAR NOT!!

Solarchef1 has assembled an outstanding line up of well-known YOU TUBE speakers that are bringing answers to some of these questions and much more. If you have ever attended a preparedness conference in the past, THIS ONE will surprise and inspire you. You will also have the chance to network with other people in your area as well as visit with the many vendors bringing that much needed gear. Lunch will be available for $7.00 along with snacks and drinks throughout the day. To defray costs there is a $12.00 admission fee via Pay Pal or $15 at the door. Pre-paid tickets will be waiting for you at the registration desk and lunch tickets will be available for purchase. For more info please email solarchef1@hotmail.com.

Learning how to live independently is vital if one wishes to survive potential disasters that could disrupt access to water, food, fuel, medical and other essentials necessary for survival.

God has not given us the spirit of fear; But of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7

I'm am hoping to make it (job etc. permitting), but will pay at the door. It might help attendance if the others going would chime in and let us know you're planning to go.

I'm planning on going! Actually, I'm helping out with it just a little bit. It's supposed to include more than the basics this time. And if you plan on going and have a specific question, let them know at the solarchef1.com and your questions will be passed on to the appropriate speaker.

Ghoti, I haven't heard of a swap going on.

I'm new to all of this prepping stuff. Been doing some research on my own and have come to the conclusion that's it's just a matter of time before one of the many scenarios that could throw us in the Dark Ages happens. I'll be attending this meeting and also paying at the door.

We need to have some way that we can recognise each other .

You can put your APN name on a name tag with or without your real first name (or a made up real sounding name if you're worried). I don't know if the hosts are providing name tags (I would guess so) but taking your own is a reasonable approach.

Yes, we will have name tags. You put your first name and the city you're from. I don't see why we couldn't put our APN name too!
