MrDB, that's a sweet ride. You know you'll have to cuddle with it tonight.

Nice!. Some dam good and sturdy kit on your new rifle. The VOLTOR fore end is bolt on. And solid kit. The fore grip actually bolts to the pitinny and reduces " flex" in the upper receiver. Straight triggers, are the ticket for a better trigger press.

The hooded HK style sights are superior to the standard AR built ones. These sights are rock solid.

Dan, in looking at the pic, I can't tell if your gas block is " pinned" or using set screws from the bottom.

It's critical to use a set pin for durability longevity.

Very nice rifle.

I was finally able to get this rifle out for a range day... Some things that I learned:
*.50 kicks like a slug from a 12Ga shotgun
*Not having to use a spotting scope to see the holes in the target is pretty cool
*The brass is HOT
*Cheek positioning will be different from here on out
*$1.75 per round is actually cheap compared to Viagra
*Bigger isn't always better, but in this case it really is!
*I don't regret this purchase whatsoever!

After I got used to it, I was in the black right away. By the end of the session, I was consistently close to bullseye @ 50yds from a fixed bench using iron sights.
@Dirk= Yes, gas block is set screwed in. Looking forward to next range day!
