Irma - Another day, another track

Postby founderant » Sat Sep 09, 2017 9:29 am

I've watched the news everyday fearfully tell their viewers each day about the track and what people should do, saying, "this is it folks."

The next day they do the same with a new track, and the next day another.

They know no more than you do, a live radar feed is your best friend. Your own common sense is your best advisor.

You make a great point. Each day this storm has drifted a tiny bit west and I only pray that people who insist they have NOTHING to worry about are staying on top of things.

Hey: I'm a storm spotter and was a chaser in Texas. Somebody has got to do it? No you're right, that was back in the days when I would seek one thrill after another, not now, I woke up. I've reported on four (4) Hurricanes and many tornados. That was then, weather wasn't so crazy like todays. A spotter is a low profile field, a lot safer.
