Read up on bitcoin in Fortune, Bloomberg magazines and a lot of internet time. While I can see some pluses it still looks more like a fancy Ponzi scheme to me.

Maybe ok for very speculative investing but not for me.

Ferfal over at Surviving in Argentina (http://ferfal.blogspot.com/2017/11/surv ... u-buy.html) is a big fan. Bit coin has lost $1000 since he wrote that.

So you think it is falling for good.

Swamp said it best. It's speculative. Nobody knows. I'll add it's backed by nothing. Kinda like the USD.

That said, I've held paper gold as well as paper crude. I'm a cut & run investor. Made some $ back then but I'm on the sidelines currently.

While I miss the thrill of the chase, I need safety now. Never invest money you can't afford to lose.

I believe blockchain technology has a future and may be part of our cashless future, but the powers that be - will not be left out! The governments and central bankers of the world will demand their taxes and fees, which will end Bitcoin and all other private coin operations!

For now they are letting them do the development and make the mistakes, but with a few strokes of the pen, they can be illegal and shut down. It is a fools errand to believe any computer program or system cannot be compromised. The nerds of the world are letting their egos get in the way of their common sense. Swamp

Buy on the dip.

I wonder who or what caused this? Think we will be seeing stores of computer glich/hack, but nothing lost.

Nothing to see move along.

just another fiat currency, all such schemes will fail eventually. If you want play to win, just realize you can loose too!
