After a very long 8 month wait for my dad to locate one of these new production rifles, I finally have one firmly in my possession. The Winchester Model 1892, 20″ barrel is a really nice rifle and will complement the 357 MAG pistols my wife and I carry around the place. I sighted the rifle in at 25 yards, and then 100 yards in a bench rest and 1 inch groups are consistent. We used Hornady 140gr FTX LEVERevolution ammo. Once again Hornady has done their ballistics homework and delivered a really nice cartridge with solid performance. This will be great for general purpose close range stuff where a long range caliber isn’t needed. This rifle will be in the gun boot on the tractor, ATV’s, or parked at the door next to the other firearms we use daily.

    Cheers!
