taken down fighting rifle, or at least, cover it well with a pack cover. Not everything, right off of the bat, is going to go mad max, but it probably will, sooner or later. So dont let your rifle or pistol be seen, until you need it to be seen, in your hands and pointed at an attacker. Keep the pistol hidden, even if you are openly carrying a rifle. You want that surprise factor on YOUR side.
