I used this after I housebroke an Alaskan Malamute pup(not a small puppy!) and it took out all pee smells and my carpet looked new again. I have a Berber carpet that is a grey color with some white dotted in it.
    It is:
    1 c. ammonia
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. baking soda
Mix with hot water in your carpet cleaner tank and scrub away. I have a Bissell and it hasn’t clogged up or corroded or anything from using this. Just make sure you don’t pour in the vinegar on top of the baking soda. I do ammonia ,vinegar and then baking soda some hot water , shake to mix, and then the rest of the hot water. If your carpet isn’t that dirty just use 1/2 c. of each. It’s a little bit more work, but I think the results are better than anything I’ve bought to use.
