Pemmican recipe

    This is a peanut butter recipe that I love. Can hardly keep it for any length of time because I eat it up. For me, I use a cup of each:

    jerky (I use beef though have tried turkey),

    fruit/nut mix (I use walnuts, dried cranberries, and dried apples),


    Then hold it together with 1/2 cup melted creamy peanut butter.

    The easiest way is to puree all the ingredients in your blender until they are fine peices, then mlet your peanut butter and blend it in a spoon full at a time until it all sticks together well in one big ball. From there makes patties that look much like a hamburger patty and lay out on an ungreased cookie sheet. I’ll bake it at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes just to help set the Peanut Butter. Once cooled, It’s all set. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
