    This recipe is easy. Ain’t nothing better than a cat head biscuit and gravy for breakfast. Fry up some bacon and save the grease. About enough grease to float around on the skillet will do. Make sure the grease is good and hot. Sprinkle about 4-5 tablespoons of flour into the hot grease. Stir the flour. The flour will start to brown. When it gets good and brown Pour a 8oz glass of milk into the skillet. Keep stirring. It will start to thicken up pretty quick. When it gets to the thickness you like, remove from heat and pour it into a bowl. You can used powdered milk that has been made up. you can use half milk and half water. As long as it has got a little milk in it, it will make gravy. When it is late in the summer and you got over ripe tomatoes, slice them up and throw them in the gravy right before it gets done. We call that tomato gravy. You don’t have to use bacon grease. You can use Crisco or vegetable oil.
