Vacuum storage of bullets

I just bought a Food Saver vacuum sealer and I love it. I am thinking of sealing up everything. My miniature dachshund is hiding from me. Anyways, what about ammo? Seal the boxes in the bags…will it lock out the corrosive moisture and lock in all that fine FMJ flavor? Good idea or bad?

By the way, I currently store my ammo in surplus ammo boxes with silica gel desiccant packets. Thinking that the vacuum sealing would provide a higher level of protection.
