I was wondering the same thing. Looks like it could be Valley Forge or Gettysburg parks. I googled ‘ Pennsylvania historic mills’ but didn’t see this in the ‘images’ . -k

I’m glad you’ve taken an interest in the mastheads. I worked on those for the state blogs. I’ll give you a hint. Bucks county…and if you are into mills, here’s a good site to look at: http://millpictures.com” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false

Found it, thanks. Only an hour and a half drive for me.

Hmmm… I haven’t looked at the link yet, so Bucks County is where I grew up. I’m going to wager three guesses: New Hope, Washington Crossing, Yardley. Now, I’ll go look at the link … -k

Found it! I was close. The header pic is MUCH nicer than the one in the millpictures site. 😀 My DH used to work at the Doylestown Courthouse. He once brought me home sketches of various Bucks County covered bridges. Another structural treasure to save. -k

I have a picture floating around here that I took over in Indiana several years back at Squire Boones caverns. I’ll look for it and scan it as it really turned out to be a beautiful picture.

On my end of the state there are 2 that I believe are still operational:
    McConnells Mills State Park
    Volant Mill
